Medicare Part B Premiums: Income Levels

Did you know: if you make more money, Medicare costs you more?!


The standard Part B premium amount in 2021 is $148.50. Most people pay the standard premium amount, however, some people have much higher Part B premium costs due to their income level. The amount you pay for your Part B premium depends on the modified adjusted gross income you reported on your IRS tax return from 2 years ago. If it's above a set amount, you will have to pay more for your Part B premium.
